Philippe?” her voice was strong, but he could hear the question in it.
“Yes?” He grabbed the chest off the floor.
“Put it down.” She sounded closer and as he set it down and turned she was mere millimeters from him.
The tears had stopped and her green eyes were on fire now, just as he liked them to be when she looked at him. She leaned up and pressed her mouth to his and he wasn’t sure which of them moaned in pleasure at the contact. But he was the one that wrapped his arms around her and pulled her close. For minutes they stood locked in an embrace, kissing slowly and then fast, learning one another and learning what thrilled the other.
When she pulled back her lips were swollen from his kiss and he felt his cock surging to life in his trousers. Theyd’ been here before and he was trying to not assume where it would lead. She was not a maiden; she’d been married with children. It was still not appropriate for him to take her in her father’s home.
Her lips formed a delicate “o” as she blew out a breath and he bit his cheek to not kiss her again. She was driving him mad and all she was doing was standing before him. Awkwardly her hand tucked a section of her dark hair behind her ears and suddenly he wanted to bury his hands in it. The current of emotions in the room was charged with lust and hesitation, from them both.
“Just this once. I need to remember what it feels like Philippe. I need to remember what’s out there to live for. It can’t mean anything, I’m not ready to move on from Shawn. But I need you to give me a reason to live past this.”
He growled deep and took her face in his hands and kissed her deeply. Their tongues swirled together for dominance and seduction. Their teeth hit together as their kiss became frantic, a need more than a desire. Something had happened and consumed them both. He moved them then, pushed forward until her shoulder blades hit the wall. Small pants of passion came from her and it drove him wild.
He pulled his mouth free from hers and kissed a trail down her neck, loving the corseted tops the hunters wore because it exposed her to him. He gently trailed his tongue in a circle over the healing mark from the bite. She groaned so passionately his eyes almost rolled back with desire. She would make those noises when he was deep within her, and he knew he would like it.
